The shipped unit, the largest liquid-driven hydrogen compressor ever developed and

produced by Headway, is tailored to meet the growing demand for high-efficiency, safe

hydrogen refueling infrastructure in Australia. As a key component of hydrogen refueling

stations (HRS), the liquid-driven hydrogen compressor plays a critical role in compressing

low-pressure hydrogen to high-pressure levels, ensuring stable and efficient refueling for

hydrogen-powered vehicles, industrial applications, renewable energy storage systems.

Distinguished by its innovative "dual-pressure skid" design, the compressor integrates 

two sets of high-pressure compression systems (50MPa and 90MPa) onto a single skid,

eliminating the need for separate installation and reducing overall footprint by 30%

compared to traditional split-type compressors. This integrated design not only simplifies

on-site installation and maintenance but also enhances operational stability, making it 

ideal for Australia's diverse geographic and environmental conditions—from urban 

refueling stations to remote industrial zones. In terms of performance, the unit boasts

exceptional flexibility and efficiency. It accepts a low inlet pressure of 2MPa, which is

compatible with most hydrogen production and storage systems, and can deliver flexible

outlet pressures ranging from 50MPa to 90MPa. This adaptability allows it to meet the

refueling needs of different types of hydrogen vehicles, including passenger cars,

commercial trucks, and buses, as well as industrial hydrogen applications such as metal

Compared to conventional gas or electric-driven hydrogen compressors, Headway's

liquid-driven technology offers distinct advantages. The liquid-driven system eliminates 

the need for high-power electric motors or gas engines, reducing energy consumption by 

20% and lowering operational noise to below 75 dB. Additionally, the hermetic design of 

the compression chamber ensures zero hydrogen leakage, meeting Australia's strict safety

standards for hydrogen infrastructure and addressing key concerns in the industry.

The entry into the Australian market is the result of Headway's long-term focus on R&D
